The following statement was forwarded to me this morning by my grandad. It's succinct, profound, and I couldn't agree more with it:
"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that, my dear friend, is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

I COMPLETELY agree! I think that's the fastest way to demoralize and destroy our country. I’m afraid that’s where we’re headed, but I hope I’m wrong. More and more I see people with an attitude of entitlement, with hands out-stretched, looking for someone else to resolve their problems. How in the world did we get to this point? I imagine those from Grandad’s generation are appalled.
AMEN! It bugs the hell out of me that Obama thinks that is okay. Why should my hard earned dollar go to help the guy looking for a handout. Don't get me started.
LOL... Wow, Mandy, don't hold anything back. Tell me how you really feel. Ha ha...
